Madeline Bernard is a native Houstonian who began her dance training at the age of two at a local studio. She continued her training and competing under Mandy Haring at No Boundaries Dance Company in styles including ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary. While attending Deer Park High School, she was a member of the national award-winning Deer Escorts Dance Team. As a Deer Escort, she was a member of the elite group Dreamscape and served as Junior Lieutenant, then Colonel in her senior year.

Madeline attended Sam Houston State University where she studied dance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in December 2017. During her time in school, Madeline worked for Crowd Pleasers Dance Company, teaching dance and facilitating leadership sessions across Texas, as well as working various jobs for their contest circuit including Computer Admin, Emcee, and Assistant Contest Director.

Upon graduation from Sam Houston, Madeline returned to her alma mater, Deer Park High School, where she served as one of the Assistant Directors of the Escorts for two years. In 2020, she began her current position as Assistant Director of the Bridgeland High School Belles. In this role, she not only sets award-winning choreography for her own team but also creates choreography for multiple drill teams in the Houston area, earning national acclaim for her innovative and captivating work.

Madeline’s passion for working and educating in the school system is evident in her dedication to fostering young talent and promoting the art of dance. She has a deep commitment to mentoring students and creating a positive and enriching environment for their growth. Her nationally acclaimed choreography reflects her expertise and creativity, making a significant iMpact on the dance community.
